OSHO Meditation Weekend Retreat
with Nitya and Islam
On the weekend of 21st/23rd of Oct 2016 you will have the chance to immerse yourself in Meditation techniques developed by the contemporary Indian mystic Osho in a wonderful setting in the countryside of Dartmoor, Devon.
This is a low-cost, high quality, newcomer-friendly, OSHO Active Meditation retreat run by meditators for meditators. See OSHO Love Yourself and Watch for more about retreats run by Nitya and Islam.
As Osho says, different people need different methods. So if you’re a newcomer, this is an opportunity to try things and find what works for you. You’re free to make your own discoveries without interference.
There will be a full schedule of OSHO Active Meditation including Dynamic, Kundalini, Evening Celebration, Gourishankar and other experiments from the huge number of meditations which Osho created or discussed. Weather allowing, there will also be meditative walks in nature.
OSHO meditations are stand-alone experiences. They do not require any prior knowledge, or assume any subsequent further interest. You are free to make your own discoveries.
It is not necessary to attend all sessions that are on offer during the weekend, though in general you’ll get the most benefit from taking part in most or all of the meditations.
Some methods, such as Osho’s Dynamic Meditation (highly recommended!) are easier to do in a venue and with other people so this is a great opportunity to do these. But we’ll make sure there are flexible, everyday-life friendly, meditation techniques that are easy to do at home.
Our mailing list: Our plan is to run retreats that are easy for people to travel to. If you put your email and postcode on our mailing list, not only will you be kept up to date with events we run, but we’ll know better where to run them: http://eepurl.com/chp8AP
Start: 5:00 on Friday 21st (you can arrive later, just inform us if so)
End: 4:30 approx. on Sunday 23rd
Cost: £150 inclusive of food and accommodation.
Venue: The East Down Centre, Dartmoor, EX6 7AL Visit their website
This is on Dartmoor, 20 minutes from Exeter and easily accessible from the M5. It is small and simple, but very beautiful and silent with excellent food. For those who’ve been before, there are no bunks any longer (well, we won’t be using the couple that are still left) and the beds are delightfully comfortable. The venue is in very green and peaceful Dartmoor countryside. Weather allowing, we’ll go for some meditative walks.
